Undeb Aber Celebrates is a week each year where we celebrate the successes and achievements of our students and staff here at Aberystwyth University.

There are three celebration events during the week:

 

Societies Awards

On the 1 of May we held our annual Undeb Aber Societies Awards. This evening was a chance for Undeb Aber to celebrate and thank exceptional societies and individuals that truly make Aberystwyth great.

All those shortlisted and the winners are nominated, decided and awarded by Aberystwyth students – student led from nomination to presentation.

Teaching, Learning, and Student Experience Awards

On the 2nd of May we held our annual Undeb Aber Staff and Students Awards. This evening was a chance for Undeb Aber to celebrate and thank exceptional staff members, student volunteers and departments that truly make Aberystwyth great.

The awards are now in their 12th year, and we are pleased that we received 742 nominations, ranging from students nominating their lecturers to fellow students nominating their academic representatives.

There were ten award categories in this year’s awards, which recognise staff, student volunteers and academic reps in a range of settings across the university.
