Disability History Month

Disability History Month is celebrated to recognize and honour the contributions, history, and achievements of people with disabilities. It aims to raise awareness about the experiences and rights of disabled individuals, promote understanding and inclusion, and challenge the stigmas and discrimination they often face. The month-long observance highlights the significant impact of disabled people on society and advocates for equal opportunities, accessibility, and respect for all individuals regardless of their abilities.
