University living can be tough. You’ve moved away from family and friends into a house of strangers with the hopes you’ll all become best friends and have an amazing university experience. Although this may be the reality for some, for others moving to halls can feel isolating, especially when you and your housemates don’t exactly gel as well as you had hoped. This is a super common issue in halls and can have a massive impact on your university experience if left unaddressed.
At AberSU, we want to tackle a few of these issues so you feel you can stick with it at home and ace that degree!
Your Wellbeing Officer, Connor, and Academic Affairs Officer, Chloe, are lobbying the university to create an interests-based accommodation selection system.
