Dewis Choice, Aberystwyth University parkrun volunteer takeover for White Ribbon Day

Register for the Parkrun Takeover here

Dewis Choice at Aberystwyth University are organising a Parkrun volunteer takeover for White Ribbon Day—a day to raise awareness about violence towards women and girls—and we’d love for you to help make it special!

  • No experience? No problem! We’ll guide you every step of the way.

  • After you register, the Run Director will help you pick a volunteer role that suits you.

  • Meet us  at 8:40 a.m for a group photo (optional) and a quick safety briefing. Wear a white t-shirt if you can!

  • After the run, we’ll be handing out bananas to all the runners.

  • Want to walk or run instead? You can join us in your white t-shirt for the WRD group photo at 8:40 am, or turn up at 9 am for the start  . The parkrun starts at the top of Plascrug Avenue by the blue metal gates.

  • Whether volunteering, walking or running - bring your friends, and let’s make it a morning to remember!

If you would like to support this event, please share it with someone who would be interested in it. Thank you very much.
