- Signing Up -

✨✨✨To sign up, head to our club webpage, and under the 'Products' tab you’ll find ‘Hiking - Rhobell Fawr’. Add that to your basket and checkout.✨✨✨

The sign-up will be available from Wednesday afternoon.

The ticket price is £7 because we were originally going to use a minibus, though this has since been cancelled in favour of public transport (but too late to change the product). If you are interested, please still buy a ticket, and we will reimburse you ASAP.

If you miss the sign-up, please email us to be put on a waiting list.

- Description -

We’ll start near the village of Rhydymain, heading north along the rural roads, and into the valley between the mountains Dduallt and Rhobell Fawr. We’ll then head west, straight up to the summit of Rhobell Fawr. After a stop at the top, we’ll continue west through the moorland, down to the village of Llanfachreth. We’ll then walk along the internal roads of Coed y Brenin Forest, before catching the bus from the Tynygroes Hotel back to Aber. We should be back by 18:30.

There are toilets at the end of the route but not the start.

The hike is around 16km, with 874m of ascent.

- Meetings, Timings, and Transport -

We will be traveling by bus. We’ll meet at bus station stop 4 at 07:20.
