I’m an A-Teamer, an Academic Rep, a CS ED&I student committee member, and Welfare Officer for AUWHC.

Why do you volunteer?
|
|
I volunteer to help others enjoy their time at university and because it’s fun. Through volunteering, I’ve met lots of new people and hopefully given a voice to those who might otherwise be overlooked.

What is your best feel good moment as a volunteer?
|
|
Seeing my work have a positive impact. For example, as an A-Teamer during Welcome Weekend, I saw people feel more at ease when they saw a friendly face and had their questions answered.

What benefits have you gained as a volunteer?
|
|
I’ve improved my communication skills, gained more confidence, and had many laughs, especially during Superteams weekends, particularly while helping with the Mystery Event.
