As a result of no resolution being made following negotiations from the previous strikes, The University and College Union (UCU) has called for its second round of industrial action. With the first strikes happening this week, here is a brief overview of what’s happening and who to go to for more information.
The dates for the strikes are:
- Week 1: Wednesday 1 February
- Week 2: Thursday 9 and Friday 10 February
- Week 3: Tuesday 14 to Thursday 16 February
- Week 4: Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23 February
- Week 5: Monday 27 February to Thursday 2 March
- Week 6: No action week commencing 6 March
- Week 7: Thursday 16 and Friday 17 March
- Week 8: Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 March
The strikes may involve the cancellation of lectures on the dates listed above and could mean that they do not get rescheduled or uploaded onto Panopto. There is not predicted to be any marking or assessment boycotts during these dates.
